What I'm Loving: Embroidery & Tassels

Hi everyone & Happy May!! May is one of my favorite months because well... it's my birthday month! My birthday is May 3rd (tomorrow!!) and I will be spending it on an airplane headed to Seattle! We fly out of Nashville so Chris and I are going a little early to have brunch with a good friend of mine before we head to the airport. If any of you have some good brunch spot ideas, let me know!! As far as what we plan to do to celebrate, the festivities started last night, where we met up with a group of friends at my favorite sushi spot, Nama in Knoxville, and then grabbed gelato after for dessert! My birthday is 2 days before cinco de mayo, so I always end up celebrating in a way that involves tacos and margaritas, so I am sure this year will be no different! I love Mexican though, so I'm all for it. 

As far as what I am going to wear on cinco de mayo? More than likely this outfit! It is so perfect for the holiday and such a fun/unique dress! As you all probably know, embroidery and tassels have been a huge trend this season. So, when I spotted this dress here that involved BOTH trends, I was sold. It is also incredibly comfortable, I feel like I am just wearing a big t-shirt! And these sandals?! I fell in love with them the moment I spotted them here. Make sure to size down half a size though because they run a little big! Also, I swear they were made purposely for this dress. I bought them separate and couldn't believe how perfect they went together! Unfortunately I was unable to find the exact dress online but I linked a bunch of similar dresses that I love below for you all as well and these sandals! They come in multiple colors 😘
